Downtown Bozeman

Bozeman, Montana, located in the upper Gallatin River Valley in the heart of the Rocky Mountains is the fifth largest city in Montana, and is located in the fastest growing county in Montana. There is good reason for this. Bozeman still has a small town feel to it, but has all the amenities that you need combined with not only a vast choice of outdoor recreation options, but a vibrant art and culture scene.
A quick tour through town reveals a lot of beautiful and historic buildings and homes near the downtown area combined with many park areas. Outside the downtown area, there are a number of new home communities and businesses including the Gallatin Valley Mall. Further out of town are three different mountain ranges, the Gallatin National Forest, three ski resorts and the north entrance to Yellowstone National Park.
Bozeman is also home to Montana State University, which at 1781 acres in size, is the largest college in Montana. MSU has also been called "The University of Yellowstone" for its extensive research and scholarly activities concerning the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
